Honda has pulled the wraps off the production version of the Honda NSX at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. The Japanese carmaker claims that this new car will offer a ‘new sports experience’ when it goes on sale globally this year.
The price for NSX is Rs. 25 lakhs.

The second-generation Honda NSX is 4,470mm long, 1,940mm wide, 1,215mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,630mm. The new car receives a prominent grille, sleek headlamps and sharp lines. The body utilises a space frame design constructed of aluminum, ultra-high-strength steel and other advanced materials. 

The new Honda NSX comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine working in conjunction with three electric motors. The petrol engine will send power to the rear wheels, while the electric motors will deliver power to the front wheels.

 Two of the electric motors are mounted up front for torque vectoring while the third direct-drive motor resides at the rear between the combustion engine and the newly developed dual clutch nine-speed gearbox. The Honda NSX rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels shod in 245/35Z R19 front and 295/30Z R20 rear tyres and stops efficiently due to the six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers coupled to carbon ceramic brake discs.
