Iphone 6 MINI launched soon
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are Apple's biggest, most powerful smartphones yet, but there might be something on the way for those who prefer the company's bite-sized handsets of old. Apple is rumored to be working on an iPhone 6 (6s) Mini, which could bring the iPhone 6's design and features to a 4-inch frame sometime in 2015.
A smaller version of the longish 4.7-inch-screen iPhone 6 isn’t hard to imagine. It might have a slightly smaller width, and a significantly smaller length. Same rounded edges and everything else, but shorter and more easily manageable with one hand.
The most recent such report comes from U.S. investment firm Zacks Equity Research, according to MyDrivers, which says that Apple is being “forced” by continued interest in smaller iPhones to launch a new 4-inch iPhone 6 handset for 2015.
Apple has also been rumored to be preparing two separate phone launches this year — one this spring and the other at its usual release time in the fall. It could announce a smaller phone first, then wait until fall to announce the normal upgrades to the existing iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
