Hello hackxtech readers today I will you a simple way of creating sitemap .A Sitemap is nothing but a list of accessible pages in your website. Sitemaps helps search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing to easily crawl pages in your site which helps in better index. As a blogger you must create a sitemap so whenever you make a new post search engines can crawl and index them easily. In this post let’s see how to create sitemap for Blogger blog and submitting it in robots.txt.
There are few steps just follow them
#1. Goto the site http://ctrlq.org/blogger/ to generate the site map
#2. Enter your blog name e.g(http/;hackxtech.blogspot.in)

#3. Site of your blog is created for e.g
User-agent: *
Disallow: /search
Allow: /
Sitemap: http://hackxtech.blogspot.in/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

#4. Copy the code and go to dashboard >> settings >> search preferences and edit the custom robots.txt. Enable and paste the following text and click save changes.
#5. Your sitemap is create and So whenever search engines crawls your site they will access your Blogger sitemap from robots.txt file.
To show sitemap link on home page
Make a label and link it with following url
Sitemap : http/;blogname.blogspot.com/sitemap.xml (At the palce of blogname write your own blog name)
